TORONTO, ON – October 23, 2020 – Datasoft, a leading global cloud-based foreign exchange and global payments software platform provider, announces successful completion of System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type I Audit examination. The examination, completed by CPA firm Auditwerx (a division of Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC), provides independent validation that Datasoft’s information security practices, policies, procedures, and operations meet the rigorous SOC 2 standards of availability, confidentiality, and security.
Bank and non-bank financial institutions using cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) software platforms expect trust and transparency to ensure their data is secure and their core systems are always available.
“The security and availability of FxOffice is imperative for our clients. SOC 2 provides our clients with independent assurance that Datasoft has deployed controls and safeguards that meet high international standards” said Rahim Harji, CEO of Datasoft.
SOC 2 Type I certification was attained in February 2020. Datasoft is currently preparing to achieve SOC 2 Type II certification in 2021.
